Botswana
Botswana is located in the middle of southern Africa. The area is roughly triangular - about 965 km from north to south and 965 km from east to west - with the eastern side jutting out into a sharp point. Within Botswana's borders is a rich variety of wildlife, including many species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
The main tourist attractions are the game reserves and hunting and photo safaris. Another attraction is the Okavango Delta region, which is a maze of waterways, islands and lakes during the rainy season.
