Are you in doubt about renting a boat? Or are you looking for a nice place in the Netherlands or Belgium to rent a boat? I rent a boat several times a year in all corners of the Netherlands and Belgium, simply because it...
Belgium
So close and yet often overlooked as a travel destination, especially by the younger holidaymakers. Perhaps it is precisely because Belgium is so close to the Netherlands that many travelers ignore our southern neighbors. Or does Belgium still have a dusty and boring image? Shame! Especially when you consider that you can be in Brussels or Antwerp within a few hours, two impressive cities, both with a beautiful city center. And there's more! In the middle of the Belgian Ardennes you will find Liège, located on the Meuse. And Bruges, chocolate capital of Europe and perhaps the world! Fancy some action? Then a weekend in the Ardennes with friends is still a cool change.
Survival of the fittest
In Belgium you will find a few forgotten cities that are actually very pleasant. Charleroi and Namur, for example, are two cities that you probably wouldn't go to anytime soon. Then do it anyway! Take Charleroi. The city is located near the French border on the river Sambre and is surrounded by the Ardennes. Rent a mountain bike, take a tour of a few hours and you will see that Belgium can also surprise you. In any case, there is a lot to do for the active holidaymaker. How about abseiling, mountain climbing, kayaking, inspecting caves or survival in the Ardennes: if you want action, you can get that too!
Sun, sand and sea
Do you prefer sun, sand and sea? No problem! Because there are a few very beautiful coastal towns in Belgium. Knokke is perhaps best known. The jet-set of Europe in particular regularly basks on the beach here. But the beaches at De Panne, Koksijde or Ostend are perhaps more worthwhile.
