TRAVEL NEWS – July 26, 2022: Sometimes there are those special stories of people who really take travel seriously. People who are trying to break out of the daily grind and want to do things completely differently. Some end up in 'I Departure', but the American Mario Salcedo decided to leave the mainland and seek his future at sea. On a cruise ship, of course.
Who is Mario Salcedo?
What kind of person takes a cruise not for a week or a month, but for the rest of their life? Meet Mario Salcedo, who says nearly 20 years of non-stop life on cruise ships has made him “The Happiest Guy in the World.”
Happy or not, Mario is a great visual story. The superior cinematography and editing suggest multiple answers to that question. The truth of that claim, however, lies entirely in the eye of the beholder.
In this catchy short film (because it really is), you get a unique look into the life of this special man. A man who has apparently said goodbye to cleaning, cooking, washing his own clothes or having to make his bed for good.
