There is no such thing as a perfect time to travel…

Every year we all think about exotic locations en great adventures. We think about the best time to travel. We think about the journeys we will take, the people we will meet and the beautiful places we will see and experience.

…and then we leave those dreams as fast as we imagined them…

Why we can't travel

We think of all the reasons why we can't go. Why today isn't the best time to travel and we just have too many things to do. Something comes up and our plans are postponed until tomorrow while we wait for 'the right time'.

Waiting for the right moment is useless. Take that step and discover the world
Waiting for the right moment is useless. Take that step and discover the world

When we have more money, more free time, when things aren't so crazy – then we can travel. We just need the stars to align a little more before we can take the step.

But I'll tell you a secret: it will never be the right time to travel.

You can always find an excuse why today just isn't the right day.
You will always have a reason to stay at home.

The idea of the stars aligning and you finding the perfect day to step out your door and explore the world is a fantasy. Today may not be the perfect day, but neither is tomorrow.

Because tomorrow…

There are still bills to be paid tomorrow.

Tomorrow there is still not enough money.

Tomorrow there will still be a birthday to celebrate.

Tomorrow your relative will still be sick.

Tomorrow someone will still be planning a wedding.

Tomorrow you will still not know if you are making the right decision.

Tomorrow you will postpone the preparation for another day.

Tomorrow you'll find another excuse why you can't go.

Tomorrow people will make you doubt again…

Tomorrow you will still worry about all the bad things that could happen to you.

Tomorrow something else will come...

When tomorrow comes, say to yourself, “Today is not the right day. Let's try again tomorrow.

Tomorrow will never be perfect…

There is no such thing as the perfect time to travel

That perfect morning will never come. Tomorrow will always be a vague day in the future. If you wait for that perfect day, you will never travel.

It is never perfect, but if you really want to travel, it is actually very simple: just go.

Armed with a gas mask in the crater of the active Kawa Ijen volcano in Indonesia. One wrong step and you dissolve here like a lump of sugar in a cup of tea - and let these be the moments when you really feel that you are alive.

Sometimes you just have to take the plunge and go for it. Ships aren't meant to stay in port - and you weren't meant to wonder "what if?"...

…Because one day you will find that it may already be too late. For example, due to illness, children (even if that doesn't have to be a show-stopper) or physical problems.

You will be filled with nothing but sadness and regret at that moment.

If only I had…

…so stop waiting.

Stop making excuses.

Today is your day.

It is never the right time to travel.

Forget tomorrow.

Ga.

Everything will be fine.
