New night train Brussels-Amsterdam-Berlin | From May 25

TRAVEL NEWS – December 28, 2021: There will be a new European sleeper-night train route from May 25, among others Brussels, Amsterdam en Berlin. The European night train route (with sleeping places) connects Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin with another 10 intermediate stops spread across Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The new night train will run from 25 May 2023, in principle three times a week.

It was originally planned to be a longer route including Dresden and Prague. These destinations are expected to be added at the end of 2023 or early 2024, according to European Sleeper on its website.

The night train route

From the start, the train will also stop in the Netherlands Roosendaal, The Hague, Rotterdam, Amersfoort en Deventer. In Belgium this will be Antwerp and in Germany again in Bad Bentheim and Hanover before arriving in Berlin.

The full route of the night train to Berlin (as it is known today) is then as follows:

Brussels –> Antwerp –> Roosendaal –> The Hague –> Rotterdam –> Amsterdam –> Amersfoort –> Deventer –> Hanover –> Bad Bentheim –> Berlin.

Ticket sales and prices

Tickets go on sale February 20 NSinternational, Sunweb (European Sleeper's official partner) and via the company's own website. The Dutch-Belgian startup rail operator advertises prices of 49 euros per seat and 79 euros for a couchette (sleeping place), including breakfast.

The night trains between Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin will initially run three times a week, the company said. The company hopes to make it a daily service.
