New Emirates Airbus A380 interior
Emirates takes its signature A380 experience to the next level with the unveiling of a brand new Premium Economy cabin, along with enhancements and a refreshed look to all cabins on board the latest A380 aircraft.
Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline said: “The Emirates A380 is already one of the most desirable travel experiences in the air, and now we've made it even better. While others are cutting back, Emirates is working hard to reinstate the products and services we've had to suspend or modify due to pandemic precautions, and to introduce new offerings and improvements. True to our promise to fly better, Emirates continues to invest to provide our customers with the best possible experience.”
The airline received its latest A380 aircraft from its Airbus facility in Hamburg last week. The remaining order of 5 A380s will also come with premium economy cabins in 2021 and 2022. Emirates' premium economy seats will also be installed on some of its Boeing 777X aircraft that will not join the fleet until 2023. Emirates is considering plans to also renew its existing A380 fleet and provide the new interior.
Sir Tim said of the interiors in Emirates' premium economy cabins: “Our Premium Economy product has been carefully developed in line with Emirates' brand positioning as a full-service airline of the highest quality. Our First, Business and Economy experiences changed industry standards when they were introduced, and we are confident that our Premium Economy will also make its mark as a separate premium offering. Until we have a viable number of seats in stock to bring to market, we plan to offer the Emirates Premium Economy experience as a free upgrade to valued customers. We will also be deploying our latest A380 aircraft on different routes so that our customers can experience our latest offerings in all classes.”

First Class: even more privacy and luxury
On this latest Emirates A380, the airline's 14 First Class private suites have been improved over the original suites by being slightly wider with higher doors for even greater privacy and comfort.
The interior and finishes have also been refreshed with new motifs and colours, from the sweeping staircase leading from the main deck to the upper deck, to updated design finishes and modern amenities in the Shower Spa.
Business Class: new luxury finishes
Emirates has kept its popular A380 Business Class seats which provide direct aisle access for each passenger, recline to a fully flat position and personal minibars, ample personal storage space and a high degree of privacy.
All 76 seats have been updated with champagne-colored leather covers and wood trims inspired by executive jets, similar to Business Class on Emirates' Boeing 777 Gamechanger aircraft.
The same classic color scheme has also been applied to the Onboard Lounge at the rear of the upper deck, exclusively for First and Business Class passengers.
Economy: New ergonomic seats
Emirates has replaced all 338 Economy seats on board the latest A380 with ergonomically designed seats with full leather headrests and flexible side panels that can be adjusted vertically for optimal support.
This latest seat model is a step up from the version currently installed on Emirates' Boeing 777 Gamechanger aircraft. It's lighter, without sacrificing comfort or function. Each seat has a stylish wood grain finish on the tray tables, as well as a 13,3" personal screen to enjoy Emirates' award-winning ice cream.
Renewed cabin interiors
In the Emirates A380 interior, customers will see new finishes and design accents featuring the Ghaf (prosopis cineraria) tree motif, as well as the clean and airy champagne color scheme with wood paneling and bronze accents of Emirates' latest Boeing 777 Gamechanger interiors.
The Ghaf, a native evergreen, is considered the national tree of the United Arab Emirates and has deep cultural and environmental significance.
All cabin classes are equipped with the latest generation of Emirates award-winning in-flight entertainment system, offering enhanced and superior picture quality. Each screen on the seat has an ultra-wide viewing angle, a capacitive touchscreen, LED backlighting and a full HD display.
