New Emirates Airbus A380 interior

Emirates takes its signature A380 experience to the next level with the unveiling of a brand new Premium Economy cabin, along with enhancements and a refreshed look to all cabins on board the latest A380 aircraft.

Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline said: “The Emirates A380 is already one of the most desirable travel experiences in the air, and now we've made it even better. While others are cutting back, Emirates is working hard to reinstate the products and services we've had to suspend or modify due to pandemic precautions, and to introduce new offerings and improvements. True to our promise to fly better, Emirates continues to invest to provide our customers with the best possible experience.”

The airline received its latest A380 aircraft from its Airbus facility in Hamburg last week. The remaining order of 5 A380s will also come with premium economy cabins in 2021 and 2022. Emirates' premium economy seats will also be installed on some of its Boeing 777X aircraft that will not join the fleet until 2023. Emirates is considering plans to also renew its existing A380 fleet and provide the new interior.

Sir Tim said of the interiors in Emirates' premium economy cabins: “Our Premium Economy product has been carefully developed in line with Emirates' brand positioning as a full-service airline of the highest quality. Our First, Business and Economy experiences changed industry standards when they were introduced, and we are confident that our Premium Economy will also make its mark as a separate premium offering. Until we have a viable number of seats in stock to bring to market, we plan to offer the Emirates Premium Economy experience as a free upgrade to valued customers. We will also be deploying our latest A380 aircraft on different routes so that our customers can experience our latest offerings in all classes.”
